Erling Haaland has revealed that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola wants him to 'connect' with his teammates as he looks for the Norwegian striker to get even better.
The former Borussia Dortmund man has been in scintillating form so far this term, registering 17 goals in 11 matches in all competitions - including 14 goals in eight Premier League games. Haaland, who grabbed a hat-trick in City's 6-3 win over rivals Manchester United in the derby on Sunday, has received widespread praise for the impact he has had since his arrival at the Etihad.
Although Haaland has only failed to score in two matches this campaign - including the Community Shield defeat to Liverpool - his manager is keen for him to link-up with his teammate more when needed.

Speaking to Gary Neville on Sky Sports prior to the Manchester Derby, the Norway international revealed that Guardiola wants him to better 'connect' with the players around him.
"I'm a striker so I want to be in the box as much as possible, I don't want to be out of the side - what shall I do there? We have other players doing that so this is a logic thing, we talk about a lot of small details, against this team maybe do this against another maybe do that. It's a lot of details, it's a detailed man that loves detail," Haaland said about Guardiola.
"I like it a lot. Devil is in the details, he loves this, it's good to work with him, I like it. The day before a game, he tells us what's going to happen and then next day exactly that happens so it's crazy sometimes, I don't understand how it's possible but what can you say? When you're crazy into football, football-holic if you can call it that, it's crazy.
