Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will not celebrate winning the Eredivisie title with Ajax in Curacao as he prepares to turn his attentions straight to the Old Trafford rebuild. Ten Hag has brought his time at the Amsterdam helm to an end after four-and-a-half successful years.
During that time the Dutchman won three titles and two KNVB Cup trophies. It was confirmed last month that he had been chosen as permanent successor to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as United start a new era after what has been a dismal campaign at Old Trafford and beyond.
Having seen their title ambitions flattened by November when Solskjaer was sacked, United have also missed out on Champions League qualification under Ralf Rangnick. Meanwhile, their last silverware of any description came in 2017 when Jose Mourinho won a League Cup and Europa League double.
