Summer appears to have already arrived in the UK, with temperatures continuing to increase across the country over recent days. The Met Office has warned that parts of England, including London, could see temperatures hit so high that they could set a record for the hottest day in June since records started.
Friday 17 June is scheduled to be the hottest day of the year so far, with the East Midlands, East of England, Southeast and Southwest all being put on a Level 2 alert. As the weather continues to get warmer, many are searching for ways to keep cool - especially at nighttime, with some turning to electric fans or other devices to help them get to sleep.
