Emmys 2022 winners - including Succession and Ted Lasso

The winners of this year's Emmy Awards, the most prestigious honours in television, have been announced. Succession, Ted Lasso, The White Lotus and Squid Game are among the shows that walked away with top awards.
Squid Game's Lee Jung-jae was handed the gong for best male actor in a drama for his role in Netflix's incredibly popular Squid Game. He is the first Asian star to take home the award.
The show's director, Hwang Dong-hyuk, won the best drama series director award, also the first Asian to do so. Other favourites remained at the top with Ted Lasso taking home the best comedy series gong for the second time in a row while the outstanding drama title went again to Succession.
