Emmy Predictions: Supporting Actress in a Limited Series – Can Faith Hill Land a Nomination for Her First Series Role?

streaming, the limited series follows Angelyne (Emmy Rossum, “Shameless”), nee Ronia Tamar Goldberg, who, for decades, has been an iconic curiosity driving around in her pink Corvette (think a more Hollywood version of the infamous Times Square Naked Cowboy) and appearing on billboards where it wasn’t clear what she was advertising — aside from her own desire for everyone to know her face. As depicted from a nearly unrecognizable Rossum (who’s buried beneath a platinum bouffant, fake chest and Minnie Mouse voice), Angelyne’s aesthetic is part Dolly Parton, part Barbie. The show compares her to a prototype of figures who are “famous for being famous” such as Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian.

Director Doug Liman is busy putting together a bunch of films. There’s the thriller “Everest,” a new version of “Road House” starring Jake Gyllenhaal (“Ambulance“), and a sequel to Tom Crusie’s sci-fi actioner “Edge of Tomorrow” he keeps pushing for.

Another one! After Yellowstone‘s 1883 had a successful run on Paramount+, the network confirmed that the series would be coming back — but in a different way.

Wynonna Judd will have a lot of support on hand as she embarks on The Judds' final tour following her mom, Naomi Judd's, death. The 11-date arena tour will feature star-studded tributes to Naomi from fellow artists including Brandi Carlile, Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Ashley McBryde, and Trisha Yearwood.“I am humbled, once again, by the loyalty of the fans who have been with us for 38+ years, who continue to show up for me when I need them the most," Wynonna said in a press release on Thursday. «I am grateful that we will continue to honor The Judds legacy, together.»Naomi's widow, Larry Strickland, also said in the release that he is «so happy that in this time of grief for us all, Wynonna has agreed to move forward with this tour as my sweet wife Naomi would have wanted her to do.”McBride will open select shows, followed by Wynonna who will sing her own hits as well as The Judds' songs.

Is losing the new winning? If you’re an actress trying to earn a nomination in the Emmys’ Lead Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie category, that may have to be your mantra. There are only five nominee slots and 10 performances and no one would be surprised to make the cut.

Take your bets on who will be joining Michael Keaton in the Lead Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie category. The “Dopesick” actor has already won the SAG Award equivalent of this category, but with the Emmys, the competition is much more intense.
