Emmerdale viewers were left distracted in Tuesday’s dramatic episode as Bernice unveiled a new, glitzy hairstyle on the ITV soap. Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) showcased a bold new look as she went to visit her sister Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) after her attack. Nicola has been housebound after the shock and trauma of being the target of an attack by a group of girls.

Yet, she’s forced to face her fears and leave her home to collect her children from school.
Nicola gets into the car but her nerves begin to overwhelm her and she slams on the accelerator and accidentally drives into David Metcalfe’s van. Despite the dramatic and worrying event for Nicola, fans were more hung up on Bernice’s bold new look. Soap fans headed to Twitter and one wrote: "Sounds like Boomerang Bernice’s wig needs to make a triumphant comeback." As another added: “What has Bernice done to her hair?"
