Emmerdale star Zoe Henry – who plays Rhona Goskirk in the ITV soap – praised the casting of Darcy Grey as Pierce Harris's (Johnny Wrather) son Marcus. Zoe dubbed the resemblance between the two actors "uncanny" as she gushed about the young actor's talent. "He is uncannily like Johnny Wrather,” Zoe said.
"It’s quite extraordinary!" "Darcy does have a very strong resemblance to Johnny, which is enormously helpful in telling the story. He's a constant reminder and Rhona doesn’t want that in the village. She doesn’t want to pop into the café and see that stark reminder of her past.
She wants to help Marcus but it comes with its boundaries, I guess." Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter . "We had a massive day auditioning with 12 young actors who came in and Darcy really stood out.
He brought a vulnerability that we hadn't seen in any of the other auditions," she explained. "They were all amazing but Darcy was particularly good." Become an OK!
