The village is still reeling from the events of last week and spoilers for upcoming scenes in Emmerdale reveal that the fallout is far reaching an end. Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is worried that Aaron ( Danny Miller ) will spill the beans about her secret affair. After being urged by Paddy (Dominic Brunt) to hash things out with Chas, Aaron reluctantly agrees.
However, it doesn’t go well and when he accuses Chas of still being with Al, she vehemently denies it and emotionally blackmails him into backing down. She’s relieved when it looks like he is leaving the village again. Chas covers when Paddy expresses sadness at the news Aaron will be departing.
But with Chas’ story not adding up, Paddy starts to worry. Meanwhile, despite accepting her proposal, two timing Al (Michael Wildman) does his best to slow down Kerry’s (Laura Norton) desire to move forwards with their wedding plans. Unbeknownst to her he secretly assures Chas they’ll run away together soon.
How much longer can he string them both along? In an attempt to unify the village Bernice (Samantha Giles) organises a group to clean up the storm damage and people are delighted to volunteer their services. However her deputy Bob (Tony Audenshaw) quickly feels put upon. His resentment towards a bossy Bernice builds as the group get stuck into the clear up.
While Bernice is loving overseeing the operation can Bob knock her off her perch and just how low will he go to do it? Alone and secretly pregnant Chloe (Jessie Elland) is feeling lost. Meanwhile, Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) is terrified his secret fling will be revealed when he sees Chloe and Charity (Emma Atkins) talking and doesn’t know what to do. This weeks EastEnders spoilers reveal that one resident of the Square is set to receive some tragic news while Kheerat’s suspicions about Ranveer’s disappearance grow ever stronger. Early in the week Nish (Navin Chowdhry) announces in the café to Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha), Kheerat (Jaz Deol) and Vinny (Shiv Jalota) that the family are coming to Walford East for Diwali. Later Ravi (Aaron Thiara) is interrupted by two police officers who are investigating Ranveer’s whereabouts.

As the week begins Stephen is panicking as Leo’s dad refuses to give up trying to contact him. He takes a photo of him and Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) in the street and sends it to them from Leo’s phone with a message saying “don’t contact me again”.
