Emmerdale is set for dramatic scenes next week as Meena Jutla celebrates new information ahead of her murder trial. Only recently, the village murderer pleaded not guilty for the murders of Ben Tucker, Leanna Cavanagh and Andrea Tate in a shocking outcome.
However, the evil nurse did plead guilty for the kidnap and attempted murder of sister Manpreet Sharma, as well as the shooting of Leyla Cavanagh. In a new spoiler video teasing next week's episodes, it sees Meena left delighted as her barrister reveals the news that Leanna's ring will not be used as evidence during her murder trial while her sister Manpreet is refusing to testify against her.

After instructing Meena not to get "carried away just yet", the murderer replies: "Oh come on, how are they going to pin Leanna's death on me without her ring as evidence?", adding: "I'm the real victim here!" Meena's barrister then points out: "I don't think that we can underestimate the seriousness of this situation, the wealth of evidence against you." With the murderer responding: "A lot of it is circumstantial, yes, I've had mental health issues...
that led to a few errors in judgement, but honestly, deep down... I'm not a bad person." To which her barrister noted: "That's a good angle," before adding: "We're going to need more to convince that jury of your innocence, if we play our cards right we might be looking at years rather than a full life sentence." The video ends with Meena saying: "But if I was a lost cause I'd be speaking to my solicitor right now not my barrister, you lot, you only do the leg work if you can sniff out a bit of glory.
