Emmerdale 's Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) is set to be part of a heartbreaking storyline in upcoming episodes when he has a life-threatening stroke. The ITV soap has released a spoiler video showing a first look at Marlon's stroke where he suddenly falls ill and collapses to the ground. At the start of the week, Marlon is feeling on top of the world whilst he searches for the engagement ring for Rhona Goskirk, when suddenly he falls ill.

Emmerdale fans were left devastated on Monday's episode as Mackenzie Boyd announced he was leaving the village after Charity Dingle left him heartbroken.
