Emmerdale's Nicola goes in 'full attack mode' as she hits mystery person on head

Emmerdale is set for dramatic scenes as a terrified Nicola King hits someone over the head after thinking that her attackers have returned. Last week, Nicola was mugged, beaten and left bloodied by a group of teenage girls as she attempted to make her way to her car so she could drive home after a night out with Laurel Thomas and Bernice Blackstock.
While only recently, it was revealed that the gang had recorded the sick attack and it had gone viral online with several villagers seeing the harrowing footage. In upcoming scenes, Nicola is left struggling in the aftermath of the attack and even feels like a prisoner in her own home.

Things go from bad to worse when a panicked Nicola realises that she is the only one available to pick up the kids from school, and overwhelmed by thoughts of her attack, she accidentally collides with David's van.
And when an angry David demands insurance details, Nicola rushes back inside and is unable to let him into the house. Later in the week, Nicola soon latches onto the idea of exaggerating Carl’s illness to keep him at home despite the boy pleading to go back to school.
