Emmerdale’s Meena’s 'final act' is her most evil yet - and could win over the jury

Emmerdale fans will be on the edge of their seats as Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) takes to the stand in court and puts on the performance of a lifetime. But just when you thought she couldn’t stoop any lower, Meena has a last minute plan up her sleeve - and it sounds like she’s leaving her most evil act until last. Emmerdale writer Sharon Marshall appeared on This Morning to tease what is to come in upcoming episodes, as Meena tries to convice the jury she is innocent of murder.
In doing so, the unhinged former nurse and her defence will claim that she had an affair with Dr Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), which sees Liam seeing red and lashing out in front of everyone. Sharon explained: “She’s back.
She’s going to lie, she’s going to stand there looking like butter wouldn’t melt and claim she had an affair with Liam.” She continued: “He’s so enraged he flips out - is that going to lose him the jury?” Sharon then went on to say that soap fans can expect to be very entertained by the upcoming scenes, as Meena shows just how far she is capable of going. Although it remains to be seen which way the jury will vote, and what Meena’s ultimate fate will be. Sharon said: “It’s going to be good.
