Emmerdale's Daisy Campbell looks worlds away from Amelia on night out with co-stars

Emmerdale set aged just seven, Daisy Campbell never dreamed she’d be central to a 50th anniversary special over a decade later. Playing Amelia Spencer since 2011, the young actress grew up on the long-running ITV soap opera, soaking up advice from her more experienced co-stars. Now it’s 19-year-old Daisy’s turn to make telly history with dramatic scenes where her character gives birth in the middle of a storm rocking the Yorkshire village.

Coronation Street 's Tanisha Gorey, Millie Gibson and Paddy Beaver looked worlds away from their on-screen characters on the National Television Awards red carpet on Thursday night. BBC EastEnders actress Clair Norris looked almost unrecognisable compared with her soap character as she glammed up for a night out with her beau. Clair, 24, who plays Bernadette Taylor in the soap, looked far away from her day job in Albert Square where she's usually dressed in baggy clothes, a purple padded jacket and has her brunette hair scraped up in a bun.
