Emmerdale fans have predicted there is something sinister about Marcus after "creepy" scenes with Charles in Tuesday night's episode. Marcus was seen trying to help his boyfriend Ethan and his dad Charles find their long-lost sister and daughter Naomi, who they only found out existed last year.
When Charles got news from Naomi's mother, Esme, that the youngster was missing, it sparked a desperate hunt to find her from Charles, despite not knowing what she looked like. Ethan was shocked to find out Naomi was missing, and feared it was due to his refusal to meet her.
Marcus took to social media to find Naomi, leaving Ethan and Charles excited to find her. However, fans of the show were not convinced that Marcus' actions were totally innocent, with some people accusing him of being a stalker.
One fan tweeted: "Still can’t work Marcus out, still feeling there’s more to him/something he’s hiding.. " Another wrote: "So Marcus basically telling Ethan he has stalker skills - nothing to be worried about there then." Someone else tweeted: "Top stalkery from Marcus there," and someone else said: "Ewww that's a bit creepy Marcus." Marcus is the son of former village villain Pierce Harris, and one fan of the soap predicted that this might mean he might "turn out bad." They tweeted: "I hope Marcus doesn't turn out bad but I feel like they made him Pierce's son for a reason..." Marcus is played by actor Darcy Grey, 31, and he teased what might be to come for his character when he spoke exclusively to the Mirror on the British Soap Awards red carpet in June.
