Emmerdale fans were left devastated on Monday's episode as Mackenzie Boyd announced he was leaving the village after Charity Dingle left him heartbroken. During the latest instalment, Mackenzie, played by actor Lawrence Robb, attempted to win back Charity after they had a furious row over him interfering with her feud with Chas Dingle, which resulted in a disastrous The Woolpack reopening.
Mackenzie decided to show Charity just how much she means to him without realising that she almost kissed her ex Vanessa Woodfield last week and even tried to win her back on Monday. Showing up at the pub, Mackenzie revealed that he had cloned Charity's keys and that he was moving in, he announced: "It's crunch time, Charity, and I need to know where I stand.

Mackenzie then threatened to leave the village, revealing that he had been offered driving work from a friend who owns a taxi firm in Glasgow, saying: "If you and I are done, I've got nothing keeping me here!" Charity didn't think Mackenzie was telling the truth and was left stunned to see him driving past her in his car as she shouted: "You were being serious?" To which Mackenzie told Charity to have a "nice life" as he then zoomed out of the village, leaving his on-off partner stunned at the news.
Has Mackenzie really gone and will he return? Soap watchers were left devastated over the scenes as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts. One person said: "Please tell me Mackenzie is coming back!" A different account put: "Bye Mackenzie #Emmerdale," to which another fan replied: "Does he actually leave though?" Become an OK!
