Emmerdale 's Isabel Hodgins shared the love for her on-screen boyfriend, co-star Matthew Wolfenden on social media on Thursday.
The 28-year-old actress plays Victoria Sugden in the ITV soap, while Matthew portrays her onscreen boyfriend David Metcalfe.
On Thursday, Matthew celebrated his 42nd birthday and Isabel took the opportunity to pay tribute to her onscreen other half.
Taking to her Instagram Story, she shared a video of Matthew driving while Daft Punk's Around the World blasted through the car's speaker.
The next snap shows Matthew sat in a child's seat attached to a bicycle and the third is of him portraying David in a hospital scene, complete with a medical gown and a sombre look on his face.
Isabel captioned the posts: "Happy birthday @matthewwolfenden55 To this brilliant human who makes me laugh every single day," before adding: "I love you," alongside a hilarious photo of Matthew looking very fed up.
She then shared an old school photo of them together and captioned it: "All the way back to 2013."
It certainly seems like the two actors are back to being good friends again following an alleged 'explosive' row they had last year.
They reportedly clashed furiously while filming alongside Aaron Anthony, 30, for scenes that aired on the show during Super Soap Week in October 2021.
Tensions are said to have flared while filming a dramatic stunt involving a waterfall that aired during a blockbuster episode which was on October 19 last year.
According to The Sun on Sunday, the pair clashed – with a source stating at the time: “It was very heated."
While it is also claimed that a probe was launched behind the scenes of the long-running ITV soap to determine how and why the argument erupted.
