Emma Bunton used to "drink lots" when recording albums with the Spice Girls. The 46-year-old pop star shot to fame as Baby Spice in the 1990s girl group alongside Geri Halliwell, 50, Victoria Beckham, 48, Melanie C, 48, and Mel B, 47, and revealed that the fivesome used to drink a lot of booze in the studio because it was possible to "get away with anything" at the time.
She said: "We used to have a brilliant time and we used to sometimes go out so late, have a few hours sleep then get back on stage, it was bad. When we were in the studio we did drink lots.
The 90s were the best for that, you could get away with anything!" The 'What Took You So Long?' hitmaker - who along with her bandmates is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their chart-topping album 'Spiceworld' this week - went on to add that she would always feel "weird" if she were to wear something usually associated with the other girls, such as Scary Spice's leopard print or Ginger Spice's famous union jack emblem and finds the idea odd to this day. She is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper's Wired column as saying: "I would always feel weird if I wore any leopard print, I just couldn't do it, I still find it weird wearing leopard print or Union Jack!" Emma also revealed that despite partying hard in the early days, by 1998 Geri had left the band and both Victoria and Mel B had found themselves pregnant, meaning Baby felt as if she had to "drink for three", which on one occasion left her throwing up out the window of a car on the highway.
She said: "Mel B and Victoria got pregnant so s we all go out and I feel like I'm drinking for three because they can't drink. So I had a bit too much.

Love actually … not? Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branagh went from working together to falling in love in real life — while also weathering his affair with Helena Bonham Carter — before the pair ultimately split.
Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branagh were only married for six years, but the scandal that led to their split made headlines for decades.
scene: watching Love Actually's Emma Thompson grin and bear her way through the revelation that her husband, Harry, played by the late Alan Rickman, is cheating on her with his secretary Mia. Every year we're freshly appalled at the heart-wrenching moment where Harry gifts his wife Karen Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now album, inadvertently letting on that he's given the gold necklace (which Karen had already discovered in his pocket) to someone else: his mistress. While the cheating partner trope is (sadly) nothing new both on and off-screen, it's Dame Emma's character's show of quiet stoicism in front of the couple's, while clearly very much crushed on the inside, that has cemented this scene in the minds (and hearts) of audiences forever more. And now we know that there's something more—besides Emma's excellent acting credentials—to why her portrayal was so memorable: It's because she based it on her own real-life experience.Indeed, Emma has admitted that her tearful scenes in were so persuasive because she was having her heart “very badly broken” by first husband Kenneth Branagh, who was having an affair with Helena Bonham Carter. Kenneth and Emma split after eight years together. In a November 2022 interview with the , Emma has spoken candidly about being “blinded” to the realities of Kenneth's infidelity.

If there were a surefire way to convince people a feud exists, it’s by furiously denying it – right, Nicola Peltz-Beckham? The actress has opened up yet again on the reported rift between her and in-laws David and Victoria, saying in an interview, “It’s not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word – feud, feud, feud.” She then cryptically added, “No family is perfect.”Speaking to The Times, Nicola also dredged up the wedding dress drama, referring to the fact that she did not wear a VB gown. “It makes me sad whenever people say I was never planning on wearing it,” the 27 year old said.Unsurprisingly, insiders say the Beckhams are more unimpressed than ever, and our source reveals Posh is desperate to get eldest son out from under the influence of the Peltzes – starting with helping him move off the family estate.“For Vic and David, there’s no other take on it than Nicola just trying to stir things up again and having no intention of moving on,” we’re told.
