Ronnie Wilson, multi-instrumentalist and founder of the popular R&B and funk group The Gap Band, has died. He was 73.His wife, Linda Boulware-Wilson, posted on Facebook that her husband died on Tuesday.“Ronnie Wilson was a genius with creating, producing, and playing the flugelhorn, trumpet, keyboards, and singing music, from childhood to his early seventies,” she wrote.

Ronnie Tutt was a drummer who performed and recorded with artists including Elvis Presley (1935–1977) and Jerry Garcia (1942–1995).Tutt was one of the original members of the TCB Band, Presley’s backing band from 1969 until his death in 1977. Tutt remained with the TCB Band throughout their time with Presley as well as joining them for several reunions.
