Elton John has admitted that he is "in love" with Scots singer-songwriter Joesef's voice and music during a podcast interview.
Joesef, who was a guest on The Rocket Hour on Apple Music, was left in disbelief by Elton's confession, saying that he never thought he'd ever find himself chatting the to the icon.
The Rocket Man singer started the pod by saying to Joesef: "I'm so excited to talk to you because I’m in love with your music, I'm in love with your voice…"
Joesef replied and told listeners how he got into music, saying: "OMG! This is very surreal for me. I kind of started out just making tunes in by bedroom, just plugging my guitar into my laptop.
"I didn't really know what I was doing. My best mate, who is now my manager, heard me singing at an open mic night and became my manager and we just kind of rolled with it. And now I am here talking to Elton John on The Rocket Hour."
The Glaswegian recently announced his highly anticipated debut album, Permanent Damage , set for release on January 13, 2023. on AWAL. He told NME that the album is about "fighting in the street on the way home, kissing in the taxi, having nothing to say in the morning".
