A schoolgirl has disappeared from Edinburgh, sparking a frantic police search to trace her.
Alicja Gwardiak, known as Ala, was last seen in the Lochend Road area of the city at around 8.30am on Wednesday, November 16.
The 11-year-old hasn't been seen or heard from since, with officers now looking to the public for assistance as part of their ongoing efforts to find her.
Ala is described as being 5ft tall, with long brown hair. The youngster was wearing black leggings, a white shirt, a grey jumper and a black jacket when she vanished. Anyone who has seen Ala, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is being urged to contact 101 quoting 0912 of November 16, 2022.
