EastEnders star Louisa Lytton has landed in Italy to marry her fiancé Ben Bhanvra. The pair got engaged in 2019 and have since welcomed their daughter Aura together – who was born in September 2021.
Louisa, 33, and Ben were first set to marry in August 2020, but postponed their plans as a result of the pandemic. “It was emotional making the decision to postpone it because you put all this work and effort into something, build it all up in your head, and then suddenly it’s not happening for ages,” Louisa revealed to us at the time.
They then pushed their big day back to the following year, but once again were faced with Covid problems. While they pushed it back a second time as a result of the pandemic, EastEnders star Louisa revealed to us that she was relieved as she didn’t want to celebrate her big day while pregnant.
She told OK!: “The wedding had actually already been put back to 2022 because it didn’t look like it was going ahead the way we wanted this year.Then, soon after, we found out I was pregnant so we had to call them and say we’re actually having a baby so it can’t go ahead anyway! I also don’t want to get married while pregnant.” Come June 2022, the happy couple were finally set to say their ‘I dos’ when Covid put a spanner in the works once again after the family-of-three contracted the virus. Now recovered, Louisa and Ben have shared snaps in Italy ahead of their special day which is expected to take place this week.
