EastEnders legend June Brown 'leaves £1m fortune to her children in will'

EastEnders legend June Brown has left her almost £1million fortune to her children following her death earlier this year, according to reports.
The soap star played played Dot Cotton from 1985 to 2020 before she passed away age 95 in April this year. Now the details of her will have been published, it sees the actress leaving her fortune to her children.
After her passing, June is survived by her children Chloe, Louise, William, Naomi and Sophie, who she shared with Robert Arnold. The actress also had another daughter Chloe, who tragically passed away two weeks after she was born, writes the Mirror.
Before her death, June is said to have requested that her finances would be equally shared between her children, The Sun has reported.
June's death was announced in April. EastEnders bosses paid a heartbreaking tribute to June, writing: "We are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved June Brown, OBE, MBE sadly passed away last night. There are not enough words to describe how much June was loved and adored by everyone at EastEnders, her loving warmth, wit and great humour will never be forgotten...
"June created one of the most iconic characters in Dot Cotton, not just in soap but in British television, and having appeared in 2884 episodes, June’s remarkable performances created some of EastEnders finest moments…
"We send all our love and deepest sympathies to June’s family and friends. A very bright light has gone out at EastEnders today - we shall all be raising a sweet sherry in June’s memory. Rest in peace, our dearest June. You will never be forgotten."
