Eamonn Holmes has told his fans that his life has changed 'beyond recognition' as he shared a poignant photo with them on social media. The GB News presenter took to Instagram with a sweet snap of himself alongside his late mum, Josie, and two of his brothers.
Back in November, Eamonn shared the heartbreaking news that his beloved mother had died. He confirmed the sad news on Instagram alongside a photo of his mum before her death waving to him from her front door.
He then shared a moving message, sharing the 'only consolation' he and his four brothers can find in their loss. "My 4 amazing brothers and I said Goodbye for the last time to our beautiful Mum Josie this afternoon," Eamonn typed alongside the image, posted to his hundreds of thousands of followers.

The 62-year-old went on: "She's at last reunited with Daddy now. That is our only consolation. We loved and will miss her so much. Every time I visited her she came to the door to bless me with Holy Water and Wave goodbye." He then ended his upsetting post: "Now sadly it really is Goodbye Mummy x."
He was then later unable to travel back to Northern Ireland to attend the funeral and had to watch via a stream at the Surrey home he shares with his TV star wife Ruth Langsford after he suffered a terrible fall, fracturing his shoulder, not long after undergoing back surgery in a bid to help ease the chronic pain he has been suffering for years.
