The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has shared that on October 10, 2022, there are currently 90,738 Mandatory Reconsiderations of benefit decisions awaiting processing. Mr Yasmin had also asked DWP if it would consider holding an assessment of the potential merits of introducing a clearance time for Mandatory Reconsiderations.
The DWP Minister said: “We have no plans to introduce a target clearance time.
