Often, people (myself included) like to lump in all of the former wrestlers who have become actors into one category. It’s easy to write them off as muscly meatheads who star in terrible action films and give cringey performances.

As James Gunn and Peter Safran build a new path forward for DC Studios, they leave lots of upheaval in their wake.  Patty Jenkins‘ “Wonder Woman 3“? No more.  Henry Cavill? No longer Superman. We all knew changes were afoot, and new studio chief James Gunn revealed today that more DC Studios announcements would arrive in January, but today, there’s been one more casualty added to the old Water Hamada-led DCEU. “Black Adam 2” will not be moving forward.

This week was pretty rough for British actor Henry Cavill. After announcing his official return as Superman back in October and a cameo in Dwayne Johnson‘s “Black Adam,” it now appears Cavill as Superman is no longer part of the DCU‘s long-term plans.

Henry Cavill will not be returning to the fantasy series The Witcher following his firing from Superman.Liam Hemsworth, who replaced Cavill in the Netflix series back in October, will remain in the lead role of Geralt of Rivia, Variety reported Thursday.Season four of the show will continue moving forward as originally planned with Hemsworth starring in the series, according to the site.  Not back!
