A dangerous driver who caused a motorway smash which left four people injured lied to police in a bid to escape blame.
Mohammed Tabassum claimed his car had been stolen and he was not behind the wheel.
But a lengthy investigation by GMP proved that he was and he has now been jailed.
One of the victims in the crash suffered serious damage to her hand which will affect her for the rest of her life.
The smash happened on the M60 near Worsley and Tabassum fled the scene.
