Drake’s team denies rumours that rapper was arrested in Sweden

Rapper Mystikal, whose full name is Michael Tyler, was arrested and charged with first-degree rape on Sunday after an alleged assault the night before, according to a release from the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana.  The 51-year-old musician was also charged with domestic abuse battery, strangulation, false imprisonment, simple robbery and simple criminal damage to property. Authorities responded to a local hospital in reference to a sexual assault reported on Saturday, July 30, at 11:58 p.m. and interviewed a victim who "sustained minor injuries during the attack." Rapper Mystikal was arrested and charged with first-degree rape on Sunday.

ET first reported the news, confirming with Sheriff Bobby Webre.The Judge is holding Tyler without bond. Mystikal’s rep did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.Michael Lawrence Tyler has been previously indicted on 2018 charges from an incident in 2016 when he was charged with kidnapping.The charges were dropped after the rapper spent 18 months in jail.

Drake‘s new Beverly Hills mansion was recently subject to an alleged break-in by a man claiming to be the rapper’s son.According to TMZ, an employee at the mansion reportedly spotted the 23-year-old intruder near the pool on Friday, July 15. An apparent fan claiming to be Drake’s son has been arrested for trespassing after breaking into the Toronto rapper’s Los Angeles mansion.

Drake is setting things straight after rumors that he was arrested in Sweden last week. The  rapper took Instagram to share a photo dump from his trip to Europe, when he casually seemed to confirm that he was in fact detained by Swedish police.In the post, shared to his feed Sunday, Drizzy shared a few pics out and about in Ibiza and at restaurants and scenic locations across the continent, but wedged in-between his vacation photos appeared to be a picture of the letter Public Prosecutor’s Office for Sweden’s National Police Board allegedly sent him, notifying him that he was suspected of a crime and «subsequently detained.»At the top of the letter, detainees' rights were listed as well as a breakdown of what is expected to happen next.
