Police have released chilling footage which shows the moment a monster who killed his pregnant girlfriend and three children confesses 'I've murdered four people' on camera. Damien Bendall, 32 was given a whole life order today for the murders of his 35-year-old partner, Teri Harris, her 11-year-old daughter Lacey, her son John Paul Bennett, 13 and Lacey's friend Connie Gent, also 11.
Bendall pleaded guilty to killing the family and the little girl who was staying the night at their home in Killamarsh, Derbyshire on September 19 last year, the Mirror reports. He also admitted to raping Lacey during the 'brutal, vicious and cruel, attacks' where he used a claw hammer to smash the victim's skulls.
Footage released by Derbyshire Police shows the disturbing moment Bendall confirmed he had carried out the brutal killings. In the clip, police approach the 32-year-old outside the property who can be seen bleeding as he tells officers that he stabbed himself.
When police asked him if he knew what was going to happen next he had an appalling response. The evil monster replied: "I know what is going to happen. I'm going to go to prison again."
The police officer asks "Have you done something to anyone else?" Bendall confirms this before the cop asks: "What have you done?"
Bendall then responds: "I've murdered four people." Bendall then confessed to murdering the entire family, taking the lives of five people in the horrendous slaughter, including his unborn child that was being carried by his partner Terri.
