Rammstein’s Till Lindemann has appeared in a new poker advertisement, and in it he plays a range of characters – including a punk and a cowboy.The ad, for the online poker site GGPoker, sees Lindemann play a number of characters in a high stakes poker game.One of the characters is a cowboy, another a punk, while a third one sees him dressed as a businessman. He also appears in scenes after the game.Check out the full ad with Lindemann in character here:In other news, a statue of Lindemann was reportedly stolen in Germany less than 24 hours after it was erected earlier this month.The statue was put up in the city of Rostock, Germany – near the neighbourhood of Evershagen where the Rammstein frontman grew up – in honour of the singer’s 60th birthday.Loudwire reported that Rostock police were alerted to the theft around 10am CET on January 4 and were looking for witnesses who might have seen the theft happen.Lindemann also featured on a new song by Sharon Kovacs called ‘Child Of Sin’ earlier this year.The German vocalist sings in English on the title track of the Dutch artist’s new album (released under her Kovacs banner).

Netflix has unveiled a trailer for its new K-drama series, Doctor Cha.The series will star Our Blues actress Uhm Jung-hwa as full-time housewife Cha Jung-sook, who decides to return to her medical career after a twenty-year break. Meanwhile, her husband Seo In-ho (played by All Of Us Are Dead‘s Kim Byung-chul) is the chief surgeon at the same hospital.The new trailer opens with a shot of Cha waking up in the hospital’s break room as a voiceover asks: “Applying for residency? Why now?” The voice is revealed to be her husband Seo In-ho, as the duo meet in his office.“Why not start with actually bothering to study first?” Preferably somewhere out of the way,” he continues, which Cha replies with: “I refuse.”“Just pretend we don’t know each other at the hospital,” Seo says, followed by chaotic scenes of the duo being at odds as they work together for the first time.Doctor Cha is set to premiere April 15 on Netflix in select regions and will also air on the South Korean cable network JTBC.

The director shared the first trailer for his latest on Wednesday, giving fans a look at the story of a widower (Jason Schwartzman), his father (Tom Hanks), and the remote desert town they find themselves stranded in, circa 1955.The film's official synopsis shares a bit more about the story — which also appears to include a close encounter with alien life:Written and directed by Anderson, the film also stars some of the director's regular collaborators like Scarlett Johansson, Jeffrey Wright, Tilda Swinton, and Edward Norton, as well as Bryan Cranston, Adrien Brody, Liev Schreiber, Hope Davis, Stephen Park, Rupert Friend, Maya Hawke, Steve Carell, Matt Dillon, Hong Chau, Willem Dafoe, Margot Robbie, Tony Revolori, Jake Ryan, and Jeff Goldblum. is out in select theaters June 16, and out wide June 23.

“Elemental,” the new Pixar feature from Peter Sohn (who partially inspired the character of Russell in “Up”), and features Carl Fredricksen (Ed Asner) get ready for his first date since Ellie passed away. It is deeply touching and hilarious and appropriate as a preamble for “Elemental,” which focuses on the love story between two very opposite characters – one made of fire (Ember, played by Leah Lewis) and the other made of water (Wade, played by Mamoudou Athie).“Carl’s Date” was written and directed by Pixar stalwart Bob Peterson, who co-wrote and co-directed “Up” and who wrote and directed the rest of the “Dug Days” shorts, returned for “Carl’s Date,” along with producer Kim Collins, who produced “Dug Days” as well.At a presentation of the short at Pixar, Peterson said that he thought that “Carl’s Date” was the “bow” on top of the “Up” story and that it would likely be the last material from the world (at least for now).

“Elemental,” which you can watch above.From the studio that brought toys to life, populated a world full of monsters and took you under the sea, “Elemental” explores what a vibrant metropolis would be if that metropolis was populated exclusively by anthropomorphic elements (made of fire, water, air, earth). The story follows a young fire woman named Ember (Leah Lewis) who falls in love with a water man named Wade (Mamoudou Athie).

This is a weird thing to say, considering the studio’s long history of success, but Pixar needs a hit. After the lukewarm (putting it nicely) reception to last year’s “Lightyear,” combined with a pandemic that saw three films get straight to streaming (“Soul,” “Luca,” and “Turning Red”) and one film with an incredibly short theatrical run (“Onward”), it feels like forever since 2019’s “Toy Story 4.” Obviously, Pixar is hoping to buck that trend with the upcoming film, “Elemental.” READ MORE: Pixar Exec Says ‘Lightyear’ Failed Because “We Asked Too Much Of The Audience” As seen in the new trailer for “Elemental,” the film follows the story of a world where the five elements are all personified and live separately.
