Disney+ is giving fans a first look at the new Star Wars‘ Rogue One prequel series Andor!
The streamer dropped a teaser trailer as well as a release date for the new show on Thursday (May 26).

Diego Luna will be reprising his role as Rogue One‘s Cassian Andor, with the series exploring the character’s backstory. Andor takes place during the height of the Empire and begins with the destruction of Andor’s home.
The cast also includes Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller.
Andor will debut on August 31 on Disney+. Check out the trailer down below!

“Obi-Wan Kenobi” marks the newest series in the franchise, with the first two episodes releasing on Disney+ on May 26. The series takes place 10 years after the events of the prequel trilogy, and according to director Deborah Chow, tells a close-ended story.
Lots of news broke yesterday at the “Star Wars Experience” convention in Anaheim about Tony Gilroy’s upcoming “Star Wars” show “Andor.” And the biggest news of the day was about the scale of the series.
