London’s West End are set to dim their lights in memory of Dame Angela Lansbury following her death at the age of 96.  The Murder, She Wrote actress died just days before her 97th birthday, her family confirmed this week, leading to an outpouring of grief from friends and fans.  In honour of Lansbury, who had an illustrious stage career as well as working in film and television, London’s West End theatres are set to dim their lights for two minutes at 7pm on Wednesday before performances, the Society of London Theatre (SOLT) and UK Theatre have said.

Tom Cruise may be headed for a new mission, and this time it’s in space.  The "Mission Impossible" actor and "The Bourne Identity" director Doug Liman have reportedly reached out to Universal Filmed Entertainment Group Chairman Donna Langley for a movie that will be out of this world.  The movie pitch included Cruise taking a rocket up to the International Space Station.  "I think Tom Cruise is taking us to space, he’s taking the world to space," Langely said, according to BBC News. "That’s the plan.

Demi Lovato was forced to take a difficult decision in the middle of her successful ‘Holy Fvck’ tour, after she realized that she had woken up with “no voice” following her last concert.The singer, who recently surprised the audience in Los Angeles with some special guests, announced that she had to postpone her show in Rosemont, Illinois, explaining to her fans and followers that she had to reschedule it at a later date.And while Demi says that this was “the absolute last thing” she wanted to do, she had no choice but to postpone the concert. “Rosemont, today I woke up and had absolutely no voice,” she wrote.

After just one season, Peacock canceled its Queer as Folk reboot.The show followed a group of queer friends moving forward after a shooting at a queer bar in New Orleans. It premiered on June 9 and ran for eight episodes.Stephen Dunn, who created the new show, announced the cancellation on Instagram Friday.“It’s a rare gift in these times, and in this country, to be able to make a show as fearless and unapologetic as Queer As Folk,” Dunn wrote.

Alec Griffin Roth wrote the film and is making his directorial debut on the project, which is described as a love letter to Hollywood and cinema.“Billy Knight” follows grad school students, Alex (Heaton) and Emily (Silvers), as they traverse their aspiring careers as filmmakers.
