If you’re a fan of films, it’s always fascinating to hear David Fincher talk. No matter if you enjoy his work or not, he’s one of those creators that are just so knowledgeable and precise, he’s endlessly interesting when discussing just anything to do with the industry and creating films.

An unusually high volume of posthumous Golden Globes nominations today. Aside from the much expected Best Actor nom for the late Chadwick Boseman For Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, there was also a nom for Jack Fincher, who received his first screen credit 17 years after his death.

Golden Globes 2021 nominations are in, and there’s some good news. This year, three women received nominations in the prestigious Best Director category, breaking a five-year streak of male-dominated nods: Regina King for One Night in Miami, Emerald Fennell for Promising Young Woman and Chloé Zhao for Nomadland.

In a relatively short time, John David Washington went from the newcomer starring in “BlacKkKlansman” to one of the biggest actors on the planet thanks to films like “Tenet” and the forthcoming “Malcolm & Marie,” which might land him an Oscar-nomination. So, you would have to imagine that the film world is opening up to Washington in a big, big way, and the actor knows the filmmakers he would love to collaborate with next.
