David Beckham has shared a series of rare throwback snaps of his sister Lynne in celebration of her 50th birthday. The former footballer, 47, took to Instagram on Sunday to wish his older sister a happy birthday with an old school photo of her as well as a sweet family picture. David and Lynne looked extremely young in one of the snaps as the brother and sister duo posed beside their rarely seen parents.
Alongside the family snap, David penned: 'Happy 50th Lynne hope you have an amazing day sis you deserve it. p. s sorry about the second pic'The media personality and the former receptionist are on good terms, over two decades after their relationship became strained due to her marriage to husband Colin.
Unlike her brother and sister, We Are Your City founder Joanne, 38, Lynne maintains a relatively private personal life. The former Manchester United ace has helped his sister financially in the past, having paid around £250,000 for the Romford home she still lives in around ten years ago. It comes after David's eldest son Brooklyn shed light on the fatherly advice he received from him during his wedding speech.
Brooklyn, 23, wed actress Nicola Peltz , 27, at her £76million sprawling family estate in a £3million wedding ceremony in April. They tied the knot in a stunning early-evening ceremony and enjoy lingering six-second kiss in front of celebrity guests in including Eva Longoria, Mel C, and tennis legend Serena Williams. And to retired footballer David's own admission, his speech was longer than the others and full of heartfelt remarks, but it was his advice on how to be a good husband that struck a chord with Brooklyn.
