Disney+ series “Echo.”“Echo” will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is currently shooting in Atlanta. According to the Hollywood Reporter, it will be a spinoff of “Hawkeye.” Cox portrayed blind lawyer-superhero Matt Murdock in the 2015 Netflix series while D’Onofrio, 63, played villain Wilson Fisk-Kingpin.“Daredevil” stayed on the air for three seasons, ending in 2018.
The show and other Netflix projects that are part of the MCU have moved to Disney+.Other MCU shows that also made the jump to Disney+ include “The Defenders,” “Jessica Jones” and “Luke Cage.”Cox previously made a surprise cameo appearance in 2021’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”“Echo” is set to follow “Hawkeye” character Maya Lopez (played by Alaqua Cox), as her past existence in the New York gang scene catches up to her. Busted’s Charlie Simpson has explained how his son was rushed to hospital after suffering from “secondary drowning”.The musician shared details of the incident on his Instagram page earlier today (July 19), to help warn other families of the potentially fatal condition.His son Jago, four, had been swimming underwater in a swimming pool when he emerged “spluttering and coughing.” While he initially seemed to recover, Simpson said his son later started to vomit and become “lethargic”.Simpson said after speaking with a doctor, his son was initially diagnosed with food poisoning but later confirmed to have secondary drowning, caused by water in the lungs. The condition can cause pneumonia.“Before the doctor left, I suddenly remembered Jago coughing in the pool that morning and I remembered reading about a condition called secondary drowning, so I relayed it to the doctor,” Simpson explained.A post shared by Charlie Simpson (@charliesimpson)“After hearing this, [the doctor’s] demeanour changed and he told us to go to A&E straight away.”The musician said on the way to the hospital, which was an hour away, his son’s condition started to deteriorate.

As Marvel‘s Phase 4 introduces more new characters and sets up the MCU‘s future, there are also returns of some old familiar faces. And two of those faces, Charlie Cox‘s Matt Murdoch/Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio‘s Wilton Fisk/Kingpin, have already shown up in new Marvel content in the past year.
