A Livingston display team produced a string of fairytale performances to scoop three gold medals at a prestigious competition held at Disneyland Paris.
Astro Gymnastics Display Teams added some sparkle to the Gymnastique Magique event by winning four medals in total as well as receiving special praise from the judges.
All teams competed in two events - Disney and Open - with the club’s Juniors winning silver for their Open ‘Spice Girls’ performance and gold for their Disney ‘Lion King’ routine.
The Senior team won gold in both categories - ‘The Purge’ for their Open routine and their ‘Frozen’ Disney display.
The club were also given a Judge’s Special Recognition Award for Outstanding Performance, Choreography and Technique
Delighted club manager Caroline Gray said: “We are all so incredibly proud of the display teams and their coaches at their first abroad event since lockdown. They are such a talented and hard working team and really deserve this well earned award.”
She added: “This is a massive achievement for the club and the gymnasts for all the hard work that went into training prior to the first display competition since 2019.”
The teams were also given the opportunity to perform in the pre-parade through the theme park.
