She was a judge on the hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing before famously being replaced by singer Alesha Dixon in 2009.
So fans were delighted to see Dame Arlene Phillips joining the ITV skating contest Dancing On Ice as a guest judge.
The 78-year-old choreographer from Prestwich appeared on the show for one night only.

But viewers were calling for more as she returned to the spotlight months after starring in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
She dazzled in a sparking blue dress as she joined regular judges Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Oti Mabuse.
