Dad’s fury as neighbours send passive aggressive note about cutting the grass

A busy father who has struggled to keep on top of his garden because of family commitments has been left fuming after his neighbour decided to leave him a rude note to sarcastically say “congratulations” for mowing his lawn.
Posting on Reddit, the dad revealed an image of the letter he had received from his neighbour, which contained a passive aggressive dig about the state of his garden - without the neighbour having any context as to why he’s let his grass grow a little longer than it should be in recent months.
In the letter, the Daily Star reports, the neighbour’s less than friendly tone asked if he would be able to mow his lawn more regularly going forward, as they don’t want his house to “look abandoned”.
The nasty neighbour wrote : “Congratulations! You mowed. That’s twice so far this year, I believe.
“Can you keep it up? Maybe weekly? Or at least every other week?
“Your neighbours would be very grateful if your house did not look like it was abandoned.”
But the dad, from the US, had a more than adequate reason for letting his outside space fall by the wayside, as he’s been taking care of his newborn baby and his five-year-old child while his wife is in the hospital recovering from postnatal complications, according to Mirror Online.
In the comments of his Reddit post, he elaborated: “Context: I haven’t been able to care for my yard as much as I would like over the past few months because we had our second child back in February and I’ve been single-handedly caring for the newborn and our five-year-old while my wife has been in the hospital recovering from postpartum complications.
