Cult leader 'who forced sex slaves to undergo cosmetic surgery' jailed for 8,658 years

A cult leader accused of a variety of despicable crimes including making sex slaves undergo cosmetic surgeries has been jailed for over 8,000 years. Adnan Oktar, 66, denied the charges against him which ranged from the sexual abuse of minors to fraud, as well as attempted political and military espionage.
The sick cult leader rose to fame in Turkey after starring in a talk show he hosted on his own TV channel. The bizarre show mixed Islamic religious debates and end of the world ramblings with exotic female models in bondage-style dresses.
The women associated with the 66-year-old were known as "kittens" , with his twisted cult boasting over 150 members during one stage, reports the Daily Star. Oktar's evolution-denying cult was described as a “sexed-up Disney version of Islam” by anthropologist Daniel Martin Varisco.
Although the kittens were some of the biggest supporters of his movement, many woman who left said they were subjected to sexual abuse. One of his former kittens, Seda Isildar, previously told the Sunday Times how she was lured into the cult whilst at school and made to undergo a nose job without any pain relief.
She said: "It was horrible. Horrible.
"I can still remember the hammer. I was counting how many times they were hitting the hammer and the chisel to my nose."
Ceylan Ozgul, another escapee of Oktar's depraved acts, previously explained how people would get intiated into the cult. She told the Sunday Times: "It didn't happen overnight. It happened over like a year.
"Even the stupid things started to suddenly make sense to you after a year, because you are thinking it's normal, everyone around you is doing it."
To build his cult to such high levels, Oktar would use people he dubbed 'lions' to recruit
