Built in 1922, the gorgeous colonial two-storey mansion was sold last month to House of Cards star Kate Mara and her actor husband Jamie Bell reports Domain. The 64-year-old Kiwi rocker bought the amazing four-bedroom, four-bathroom mansion in trendy Los Feliz with his wife Sarah in 2020 for AUD$6. 8million (US$4.
3million). Situated in one of LA's most sought-after neighbourhoods, Finn purchased the beautiful, tree-lined property from Simpsons writer Tim Long. The property has a famous pedigree, as it was also once owned by Knocked Up actress Katherine Heigl.
Featuring soaring ceilings, and original fittings, including a classic staircase and chandeliers, the huge house exudes Old World luxury. Highlights include a large family room with French doors which open to a luscious garden, a swimming pool and a spa. There's also a chef's kitchen which comes with a walk-in pantry and two separate breakfast islands.
The master bedroom, located on the second floor, meanwhile, boasts a lavish en suite with bath, a marble fireplace and a walk-in wardrobe. Meanwhile, 39-year-old Mara shared news in August that she was expecting a child with her husband Jamie Bell, 36.
The expectant star and the Billy Elliot actor, who wed in 2017, welcomed their little girl back in May 2019. The couple first met on the set of their blockbuster film Fantastic Four in 2015.
