Cristiano Ronaldo has warned Manchester United that Erik ten Hag will "need time" to be a success.The superstar has been the subject of much speculation despite being one of the club’s best performers this campaign, with some suggesting that incoming manager Ten Hag will see Ronaldo leave in the summer window.

But the 37-year-old appears to be looking forward to working under the incoming manager. "I know that he has done a fantastic job at Ajax, and that he is an experienced coach, but we have to give him time," Ronaldo told United’s official site. "Things must change the way he wants.

If you do well, all of Manchester United will succeed, so I wish you all the best. We are all happy and excited [with the arrival], not only as players but as fans as well.
