Covid cases have dropped by almost a quarter in West Lothian - a week after the requirement to wear face masks was dropped.
There were in the 889 new cases seven days up to the week ending April 22, down 23.6 per cent.
West Lothian’s two asymptomatic covid testing sites have also now closed.
The council had operated the mobile sites during the pandemic to provide free testing for Covid-19 for anyone who did not have symptoms.
The testing sites are currently at Mosswood Community Centre in Livingston and Brucefield church in Whitburn, and will continue to operate from seven days a week, between 9.30am and 4.30pm until their closure.
Limited supplies of home testing kits are available for collection from the centres. Member of the public are welcome to collect kits from each centre, but number may be limited if demand is high.
