Courtney Stodden’s Mom Urges Chrissy Teigen To ‘Personally Apologize’ For Cyberbullying Them

Netflix’s Never Have I Ever will replace Chrissy Teigen. The Cravings author decided to quit her role on the Mindy Kaling-created series as backlash from her bullying comments to Courtney Stodden continues.

Chrissy Teigen is being unusually quiet. In recent years, the former model has become known for her presence on social media, taking on critics head-to-head and not being shy about her political and social opinions.

Following reports of cyberbullying, Cravings mogul Chrissy Teigen faced heavy criticism.  The 35-year-old cookbook author was recently called out by Courtney Stodden for years of unwarranted social media bullying. Since then others, including Farrah Abraham and Dina Lohan, Lindsay Lohan’s mom, have followed suit.  Then, Teigen was dealt a huge blow after reports circulated that retail giant Bloomingdale's had reportedly pulled out of a deal it had in place with the model.

Chrissy Teigen, 35, spent some quality time with her husband John Legend, 42, and their two kids Luna, 5, and Miles, 3, in her first public appearance since she apologized to Courtney Stodden, 26, for resurfaced bullying tweets and direct messages, including one Courtney said advised them to commit suicide in  2011.

Lindsay Lohan's mother has urged Chrissy Teigen to "continue to learn and grow" after once writing an offensive tweet mocking the actress' mental health struggles. Chrissy has found herself in hot water recently after resurfaced tweets backed model and reality star Courtney Stodden's claims that she used to troll them and "tell me to kill myself" many years ago.

Twitter, was in her mid-20s when she harassed Stodden. That included tweets urging Stodden to end their life.

interview with the Daily Beast published this week, Courtney Stodden opened up about their  experiences while they were married to Doug Hutchison, a 50-year-old acting coach who starred in Green Mile. Stodden, who now identifies as non-binary, said they felt they and their family were groomed by Hutchison, resulting in their marriage — which required their parents’ consent, as they were 16 years old.

Chrissy Teigen was recently accused of cyberbullying Courtney Stodden, almost a decade ago. Stodden, 26, recently called out multiple celebrities, including Teigen in an interview Daily Beast for harassing them on and off social media when they were a teenager.
