Costa Coffee is helping customers to celebrate the beginning of the weekend by offering them a slice of their cakes for just £1 for today only.
The tasty deal will allow customers to pick up a serving of cake for less when they purchase a drink at any participating store, reports WalesOnline.
Customers signed up to the coffee chain's loyalty Costa Club App will be able to access the exclusive offer for today only by scanning the app when in store or at the drive-thru.
The exclusive offer comes as the coffee house is making "Fridays a big deal" by launching a variety of weekly offers through its membership app throughout September and October.
This week's exclusive offer will let shoppers choose from the chain's mouth-watering range of cakes, muffins and tray bakes from its brand new seasonal menu.
Costa says it recommends its new maple and hazelnut muffin that is made with real maple syrup packed with nibbed hazelnut, filled with maple style sauce and topped with caramel icing and an edible chocolate leaf.
Chocolate fans can try either the tasty new St Clement’s chocolate drizzle loaf cake, milk choc chunk shortbread or Gimme S’mores cake.
Rebecca Brock, commercial and customer director at Costa Coffee UK & Ireland, said: “Fridays are fast becoming a big deal at Costa Coffee.
