Corrie spoiler sees Amy collapse after her drink is spiked as her new beau Jacob is blamed

Coronation Street is set for worrying scenes next week as Amy Barlow's drink is spiked and her new boyfriend Jacob Hay is blamed. In upcoming episodes, Amy, Asha Alahan and Summer Spellman go to a club with Jacob after the school's Valentine's Dance where Amy becomes increasingly woozy before collapsing. Jacob yells at Asha to call an ambulance and later at the hospital, Tracy and Steve McDonald worry with the latter convinced that Jacob spiked her drink.Things go from bad to worse when Jacob reveals they are a couple, and despite saving Amy's life, Steve warns him off his daughter before punching him.

In the aftermath, David Platt tells Daniel Osbourne that the school needs to work out who spiked Amy’s drink if it happened at the ball. David gets Max Turner to download the footage from the dance and the lad is shocked at what he sees.Then David comes home with a police officer… Elsewhere on the cobbles, Lydia Chambers pulls out lingerie she says is a Valentine’s gift from her ex while Sarah fumes when Adam Barlow cancels their date. Later, Adam heads to a hotel restaurant with a client, while Sarah moans in the Rovers but later in the week he tells Sarah he wants to try again for a baby.
Also next week, Chesney Brown and Gemma Winter are thrown when Joseph’s maternal gran, Linda, arrives at No5. When Linda says looking after five kids must be tough, Chesney lies that it’s a breeze. Dev Alahan tells Linda about Joseph’s disappearance and she has a go at Ches and Gemma for not letting her know,
