After David says sorry to Max, the youngster spots an opportunity to get even with Daniel when Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) accidentally leaves Daniel’s house keys on the shop counter.
Max grabs them, lets himself in and begins to smash up the teacher’s flat in a rage - even breaking an imprint of Sinead’s, Daniel’s and Bertie’s hands in the process. After he arrives home, Daniel’s outraged to see what Max has done and shoves him out of the door - and straight down the stairs. As Max’s seemingly lifeless body lays at the bottom of the stairs, a panicked Daniel calls an ambulance and David rushes to Max’s side.
When the police question him on what happened, Daniel lies and says that Max simply tripped and lost his footing. But will everyone believe him? Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) senses Daniel is hiding something and the pair argue. But the mood soon changes as they fall into a passionate embrace.
