Coronation Street’s Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) is in for a major shock in upcoming scenes on the ITV soap when she starts to worry that she could be expecting a baby. And if that weren’t enough to throw the youngster into turmoil, her relationship with boyfriend Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) hits a new stumbling block, leaving her uncertain about the couple’s future together.
After wondering whether she could be pregnant, Faye, who previously gave birth as a teenager, decides to turn to her grandmother Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) for some much-needed advice and guidance. But what’s in store for her and Craig in the meantime? She confronts him over how he’s feeling, and suggests that the reason he’s feeling down is because he didn’t want to give up his job on the police force. Viewers will know that Beth is right on the money, as Craig threw the towel in as he felt he couldn’t continue to work as a policeman as he’d helped Faye cover up the truth about Ted’s death.
Faye is also more than aware that her actions have made Craig give up something he loves, and the guilt eats away at her. In a bid to make it up to him, Faye plans a surprise night out for the pair to enjoy together.
However, Craig makes an excuse and says that he can’t make it as he needs to be up early for work. But when he’s alone with Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) Craig comes clean about his true feelings, admitting he holds a small grudge against Faye for forcing him to quit.Then, with the
