Sally Dynevor was all smiles as she and daughter Hattie enjoyed a shopping spree in Manchester. The soap icon, 58, and her youngest, 18, had some mother-daughter bonding time in the northern city, also sporting matching outfits. Sally – who has played Sally Metcalfe since 1986 – donned a casual ensemble of light-wash denim jeans and a black blouse, while her teenage daughter threw on a brown cardigan and trainers, while her mum wore sandals.
Both wore beaming smiles as they trotted around town for some retail therapy, wind blowing in their hair. Hattie left school earlier this summer, understandably leaving her mum tearful, but it means they’ve had plenty of time together over the holidays. ‘Can’t believe it’s Hattie’s last day of school’, Sally wrote on Instagram in May, sharing a picture of Hattie wearing her school uniform for the final time.
‘Where has the time gone. New adventures lie ahead @hattiedynevorr❤️❤️❤️’. Sally’s lookalike daughter is rarely seen in public and lives a relatively normal life, whereas older sister Phoebe, 27, is no stranger to lights and cameras, having shot to fame in Netflix’s Bridgerton.
As for her marriage to husband Tim, Sally also chooses to keep that behind closed doors, but did recently give fans a glimpse inside their family getaway by sharing snaps from Italy. Joined by son Samuel, 25, Sally, Tim, and Hattie (real name Harriet) ventured to Italy for some well deserved relaxation, able to top up their tans and bask in the golden sunsets. As for 27-year-old Phoebe, the actress has been doing some globetrotting of her own, visiting the likes of The Taj Mahal, working on a new project.
