Coronation Street's Roy Cropper left feeling guilty after soap death is confirmed

Coronation Street is set to be rocked by a shock death next week as Evelyn and Roy’s friendship is tested. Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) visits the cafe with her dog Cerberus and chats with Roy Cropper (David Neilson), who apologises for missing her birthday. Later, Evelyn becomes concerned about her beloved dog after he shows no interest in his food and ends up taking him to the vet to see what’s wrong.
After the vet suspects food poisoning, Roy guiltily reveals that he dropped an eccles cake on the floor in the cafe and fears the dog had eaten it. Angry, Evelyn says that if anything happens to Cerberus she’ll never forgive him and their friendship will be over. Then, tragedy strikes after the vet reveals that the poor dog is suffering from kidney failure.
Evelyn then brands the cafe a death trap and Roy vows to get rid of his phone as he fears that Cerberus might still be alive had he not been distracted by his device. Can Evelyn and Roy ever make amends after the tragic death or does this mean the end of their friendship? Elsewhere on the soap, Corrie was full of drama on Monday night's episode as Daisy Midgeley attempted to get rid of her evil stalker, Justin, once and for all. Finding Justin lurking outside, Daisy declared that she’d enough as she whipped out her phone and started filming him in a bid to prove to him what it feels like.
And over at the pub, Jenny and Glenda were left horrified to watch Daisy's livestream in horror as they worried she was in danger. After Justin hurried away, his sister called in at the Rovers as she warned Daisy to be careful as this isn't the first time "dangerous" Justin has become obsessed with someone.
