Coronation Street star Charlie de Melo has unveiled a new look after his character Imran Habeeb was tragically killed off on Wednesday's episode of the ITV soap. Viewers were left heartbroken on the latest episode of Corrie after Imran died in a devastating twist following his mystery car crash with Toyah Battersby.
Taking to Twitter after the scenes aired, Charlie shared a selfie of himself holding a script where he revealed that he had shaved off his beard, something he has always had on the ITV soap. Charlie wrote alongside the snap: "Felt chatty, will delete later." To which his 13.6K followers were quick to react to the photo.

During the latest instalment, it followed on from Tuesday's episode, where it showed Imran and Toyah unconscious after a horrific car crash.
At first, Imran played the hero after the crash as he rescued wife Toyah from the wreckage of the car and got her to safety, begging her not to die. However, in a shocking twist on the ITV soap, Imran later collapsed and died due to his injuries sustained from the car crash.
