Coronation Street 's Sean Tully, played by Antony Cotton, is set for a new love interest on the hit ITV soap. In upcoming scenes, a man called Frank Bardsley, who is played by Simon O'Brien, enters the Rovers Return Inn where he soon has a flirty exchange with Sean. And when Frank leaves the Rovers, Jenny Connor encourages Sean to chase after him and ask him on a date.

It comes after a "Corrie insider" told Digital Spy: "While Sean is smitten, there may be more to Frank than meets the eye. "Frank went to school with local undertaker George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley), who knows details about his past and is wary of him. "Is Frank the same guy that George knew all those years ago, or has he changed his ways?" It's a busy few weeks for Sean on the cobbles as Liam McCheyne has confirmed that he will be returning to the ITV soap as Sean's son Dylan Wilson.Taking to social media, the actor posted a picture of his scripts as he announced his comeback to the cobbles.
Liam was last seen in Weatherfield as his character Dylan in 2020 and he is due to start filming on 17 May.The young actor penned on Twitter: "BIG NEWS‼️‼️ Can't wait and super excited to get back to work @itvcorrie on May 17th. Hopefully many memories to come. Have a good weekend everyone see you soon."
